The approved 2006 Work Program for the Centre Regional Planning Agency (CRPA) includes the preparation of detailed land use plans for important planning areas in the community. While the Centre Region Comprehensive Plan provides a solid foundation to address regional planning challenges through its goals and policies, the successful implementation of these regional planning principles will require a more detailed study for strategic areas of the community. To allow the Centre Region to continue the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Plan, the CRPA will begin work on a plan for eastern Halfmoon and western Patton townships. The
Halfmoon and Patton Township Area Plan will be an important planning effort as
part of the 2006 Centre Regional Planning Agency (CRPA) Work Program.
