Brush and Leaf Collection Guidelines

The PREFERRED METHOD for disposing of Brush, Leaves and Garden Residues is to utilize the on-call monthly brush collection programs offered independently by College, Ferguson and Patton Townships.  These organic materials are composted in cooperation with the Borough of State College.  This arrangement keeps this material out of the landfill.    Residents that desire collection can call their respective Township's office, provide their name, address, and phone number to the receptionist. Crews will collect brush and leaves from those that “called-in” on the first Monday of the month, or the following day if it is a holiday.
