BRUSH AND LEAVES

MONTHLY COLLEGE, FERGUSON & PATTON TOWNSHIPS BRUSH AND LEAF COLLECTION

The PREFERRED METHOD for disposing of Brush and Leaves is to utilize the new on-call monthly brush collection programs offered independently by College, Ferguson and Patton Townships.  These organic materials are composted in cooperation with the Borough of State College.  This new arrangement keeps this material out of the landfill.  Please read more below to learn about this exciting change.

The Ferguson Township Public Works Department, Patton Township Public Works Department and College Township Public Works Department are engaged in the monthly collection of brush and leaves, via a call-in system. Residents that miss the seasonal collection or desire collection can call their respective Township's office, provide their name, address, and phone number to the receptionist. Crews will collect brush and leaves from those that “called-in” on the first Monday of the month, or the following day if it is a holiday.
