Calendar of Events

Important Dates for 2010

 HOLIDAYS:  If your weekly pickup day falls on or after the following Holidays, your trash and recycling service will be delayed by one (1) day during the week of the holiday.  Friday customers trash will be collected on Saturday.

January 1 – New Year’s Day
May 31 - Memorial Day
September 6 – Labor Day
November 25 – Thanksgiving Day
November 29 – First Day of Buck Season  

As the 4th of July and Christmas fall on the weekend, there will be no collection schedule change during those weeks.

Annual Events

CHRISTMAS TREE COLLECTION will occur during January 11 - 15, 2010.  Veolia residential customers may put out Christmas trees for a special recycling collection during the week of January 11 - 15, 2010.  There is no

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION EVENT will be held April 30th & May 1st 2010 at the Centre County Solid Waste Authority.  See HHW more information.

BULK WASTE COLLECTION has occurred for 2009.  Dates for 2010 will be set in January.  Bulk Waste Guidelines provide additional information and required item preparation.
 
    SPRING BULK WASTE WEEK     May 17 – 21, 2010  
    FALL BULK WASTE WEEK         October 11 - 15, 2010
